Typically during tough financial times training projects may be discontinued and training efforts abandoned or seriously curtailed. The August 12th COC-ASTD meeting will explore what a training department or an individual trainer can do that will prove their continued value to their organization during hard times. Linda Dowling, an experienced trainer, management coach and consultant, will disclose the results of her informal surveys of regional CEO’s, Senior Managers and Business Owners and experienced trainers throughout the United States. She will provide proven strategies and practical tips for a training department’s survival when a corporate budget gets tight.
