Training Project Lead – JOB ID# P8T01:
SCOPE: The Project Lead plans, organizes, directs, and controls activities to ensure accomplishment of objectives, goals, and missions. In addition to the position’s functional duties and responsibilities, the lead serves as the technical lead and subject matter expert for his/her function. He/she supervises subordinate team members, and other assigned personnel.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Plans for and manages resources.
•Reviews and approves all product deliverables.
•Assigns tasks to the appropriate subordinates.
•Functions as the point of contact with other managers and customer representatives.
•Processes administrative and personnel actions.
•Reviews and approves task assignments and task assignment execution plans.
•Provides for the professional development of subordinates.
•Performs staffing functions.
•Performs other duties as required by Corporate managers.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Ability to comprehend, analyze, and evaluate available data and implement a feasible course of action.
•Ability to motivate personnel to accomplish assigned missions.

Senior Multimedia Training Specialist – JOB ID# P8T02:
SCOPE: The Sr. Multimedia Training Specialist designs and develops computer-based, web-based, and other technology-based training products using a systems approach to development. The Sr. Specialist does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may schedule and direct the work flow of the section and review and give input on the production performance/work of the workers on his/her functional work team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Translates assessment and analysis data into an instructionally sound course design.
•Determines media requirements and drafts complete description for all media requirements.
•Serves as a liaison to other development team members such as word processor, developers, and analysts.
•Prepares media (e.g., audio, video, animations, photography) for incorporation into lessons.
•Provides authoring support for the development of technology-based training products.
•Develops graphics, animations, illustrations, and templates.
•Provides instructional design support, as required.
•Develops course materials based on identified course objectives.
•Interfaces with subject-matter experts to determine needs, modifications, etc.
•Evaluates, through formative and summative evaluation, the effectiveness of the training and chosen media.
•Coordinates the delivery of the training product.
•Performs other duties as required by the Project Lead.
•Packages training for delivery
•Writes code and script as required for the development of training products.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Knowledge of graphics and media development software and commercial authoring software.
•Ability to develop training based on the ISD model or other systems approach for training development.
•Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
•Overall knowledge of instructional design and principles.
•Written and verbal communication skills.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•Baccalaureate degree in a related area or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•One or more years experience developing instructional materials and/or media using a systems approach.
•Computer skills including knowledge of media, graphics software and authoring software.


Senior Instructional Designer – JOB ID# P8T03:
SCOPE: The Sr. Instructional Designer analyzes training requirements, designs and develops materials, and evaluates and validates training effectiveness in accordance with stated guidelines, specifications, and models. The Sr. ISD does not have direct supervisory responsibilities, but may schedule and direct the work flow of the section and review and give input on the production performance/work of the workers on his/her functional work team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Performs front-end analysis and needs assessments to determine training needs and job requirements.
•Develops objectives based on task analysis.
•Identifies tasks and subtasks critical to meeting job performance criteria.
•Develops flowcharts.
•Develops modules using MS WordÒ and PowerPointÒ.
•Prepares scripts/storyboards for scenarios or activities.
•Validates completed instructional blocks to ensure objectives are met.
•Provides support to media specialists, programmers, and quality assurance personnel.
•Interacts with subject matter experts to determine needs and modifications.
•Develops evaluation instruments.
•Assists in determining the requirements that will be used by the programmer or others to design the visual environment for the target audience.
•Organizes and scripts a lesson or portion of a lesson in storyboard format.
•Revises storyboards based on editorial, content expert, client, and user comments.
•Coordinates with graphic and media specialists to obtain supporting media.
•Develops specific production notes describing linking, branching instructions, and screen dynamics (such as highlighting, motion, and sound) to be executed by the data entry or programming staff.
•Performs as lead for a project when assigned, including coordinating timely task accomplishment.
•Performs other duties as required by the Training Manager.

SKILLS REQUIRED:
•Ability to develop training based on the ISD model or other systems approach for training development.
•Ability to collect job and task data using a variety of collection techniques and develop course objectives using the data.
•Ability to interpret, and apply to a training situation, technical manuals, job-related publications, and work breakdown reports.
•Ability to write concisely, clearly, and coherently for the visual medium of the screen display.
•Ability and willingness to conform to established standards and templates.
•Analytical and logical skills.
•Attention to and tolerance for detail.
•Ability to accept critical comment and incorporate ideas into his or her work.
•Ability to assimilate large amounts of information quickly.
•Knowledge of, or ability to learn about, the software tools, systems, or the computer programming required to execute designs, scripts, and displays.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
•Baccalaureate degree in instructional technology, education, human resource development, or related area.
•A minimum of three years directly related experience including task analysis, course design, course development, and/or evaluation.
•Three or more years experience developing instructional materials using a systems approach. Basic computer skills including knowledge of word processing programs and other commercial authoring systems.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
•Experience developing computer-based training using a commercial authoring package.
•Knowledge of various multimedia development tools for graphic and audio effects.
•Master’s degree in instructional technology.
